NLSS is committed to the community, offering several opportunities to volunteer including servicing local shelters, Food banks and other activities

Spiritism

Study

This study group provides an opportunity to build up a main understanding of the scientific, moral and philosophic aspects of Spiritism, on a slow pace and structured manner.

Homeless Breakfasts

Every Saturday morning, a group of people from NLSS go to a Homeless Camp in Oakland to serve Breakfast and to bring a little bit of joy to these people living on the Streets.

Youth Spiritism education

Through dynamic methodology, children and youth participate in their own educational process, gradually gaining an understanding about their potentials and are guided to moral and intellectual autonomy.

Conducted in Portuguese and English.
